great montreal crafting at la récré
This past Saturday Dot & Lil was selling at Marché la Récré for the first time, the little outdoor art market's second week in existence. I was super impressed with the stuff being shown and was really happy to have been included in such a great mix. Asides from great vendors there was also super tasty, really refreshing shaved ice with yummy homemade flavors, like Apricot or Coffee & Dulce de Leche. Watching the ice get shaved off that big block makes it even tastier!
Saturday wasn't the first time I found myself poking about in the gorgeous stuff on Instant Crimson's table. And my friend Genia bought one of her lovely key-chains...smart girl!
And in the booth directly to my right was Tilly D'oro , who's original and revamped vintage jewelery I have been pining after since Holiday Puces Pop last year.
And these beautiful textiles and textile jewelery from Pollen. You can also read Julie André's blog here, and see her pics from marché la récré.
There was also vintage furniture, clothing, pottery and ceramics. And tasty merguez sandwiches being cooked on the spot! So, lots of good stuff at Marché la Récré!
Dot & Lil will be there for the next two Saturdays at least (and I suspect all summer, it's just that fun!) so drop by and say hi.
