covet wednesday; better late than never! nyigf editon
I am in the midst of preparing for a mini-trip to Nova Scotia for some Dot & Lil business, and didn't pull it together enough to get the Covet Wednesday post ready yesterday! Better late than never.
When I was in nyc for the gift show, I discovered all kinds of new brands, new items and new designers, both at the show and walking around the city. One of my favourite discoveries at the show was Fog Linen, a Japanese line of high quality, Eurpean style linens and fabric items that are made for them traditionally, in Lithuania. I was especially enchanted with their bath linens as they are so much related to Dot & Lil, but they also make lovely kitchen linens, home items, and some clothing. Their booth at the gift show was beautifully set up, and I am in love with the styling, design and photography of their catalog. Here are some Fog Linen items I am coveting this week, available online from Massachusetts retailer Pod.
From top left: raw linen waffle towel, navy stripe and grey chambray bath towels,
navy stripe thick chambray hand towel, natural bath mat.
Pod also has other lovely and covetable items stocked in their online shop, which I hadn't discovered until I went searching for Fog Linen stockists. Their brick-and-mortar store is located at 313 Washington Street,
Brookline Village, Massachusetts.
From top left: pretty coffee spoon, round glasses set (reminiscent of the one in Don Draper's office in Mad Men),
gorgeous Julie Thevenot-Ekka bracelet, Tracey Tanner copper foil leather pouch (to bring your Dot & Lil goodies with you wherever you go.)
Have a great end-of-week! And make sure to check out our nyc {food love} post from yesterday if you're going to be in New York for upcoming fashion week!
