I left the house at 7 am this morning, as usual. I hopped skipped and jumped my way along one of my favorite bits of the Plateau, with my head tilted back looking up at the uniquely Montreal rooftops. It was still quite dark, and it was snowing in that I-could-handle-winter-better-if it-was-always-like-this kind of way that happens so rarely.

I stopped walking and looked behind me, and it was so pretty! The light, the snow, my footprints. It got me thinking about footsteps, and choices, and the paths we choose for ourselves. I may not know exactly where I am going, but I know that I'm pleased with the non-linear and surprising life that I have! This morning, for no reason other than that I am happy, I felt blessed to live where I live and have what I have. I am grateful for the supportive and inspiring people I have chosen to surround myself with. I am in love with my life!

It was a good morning!
