dot & lil at roxham farm
This past weekend for Dot & Lil was spent at the Roxham Woolgathering on Roxham Farm in Hemmingford, Quebec. This is fast becoming one of our favourite shows of the year! It's kind of a season opener, leading the way into a fall and winter show season for us. The farm is a quick 45 minutes from Montreal, right on the Champlain, NY border. With gorgeous scenery, little farm nooks and crannies, great handmade vendors, fresh air, good food and beautiful animals, it's a pretty great way to spend the day. Preserves, felted goods, wool, locally grown fruits and veggies, and GREAT espresso. Puppet shows for the kids, a tree house to climb in, and a great big barn to explore. Ducklings, roosters and chickens running underfoot, along with horses and sheep. You can tell the people at this show, both vendors and attendees, are there just simply because they love it.
I picked up this truly outstanding Five Roses Flour Montreal Landmark phone case from Jane Heller Photography, who I've talked about before. Her work is just gorgeous. I also loved just being out of the city for a bit!
Dot & Lill sold a lot of soap, and had fun showcasing our new fall collection. Make sure to join us on Roxham Farm for this event next year. And follow the Roxham Woolgathering page on Facebook for details. It's a really great way to spend the weekend!
