It isn't quite thanksgiving yet, but I'm overflowing with thankfulness these days! Last night, I hosted a small gathering to thank the Dot & Lil helpers who helped me get a big order out the door in the past few weeks. I couldn't, absolutely couldn't, have done it without them. It was a lovely evening.
I made bow pasta with ricotta, spinach, pine nuts and chorizo sausage that was loosely inspired by this pinterest pin
. The pasta had lemon zest, spinach, chorizo sausage, ricotta cheese, fresh garden parsley and basil, garlic and pine nuts as well as some chopped home-grown tomatos. It was so
delicious, I will definitely be making it again! I also made a fall soup that was very
popular and pumpkin cupcakes
with cream cheese frosting for dessert.
I wanted all the helpers to be able to choose a few Dot & Lil goodies to take home, and the images in this post is them selecting (and enthusiastically grabbing for!) their choice of Dot & Lil products.
My small business could not run without the support of people who not only love me, but have, sometimes for reasons that even I can't divine, chosen to support and believe in my business past the point of reason. I am so, so blessed to have people around me who have faith in my ability to overcome whatever new challenges my business can throw at me. Without them, Dot & Lil could never even begin to become the empire I want it to be one day!
Thank you. Just, thank you.
