the handmade marathon

You guys know by now that Dot & Lil is a huge lover and supporter of other handmade businesses and the handmade community as a whole, especially in Canada! I wanted to share project run by Alison at The Petit Cadeau blog that really celebrates and highlights all things handmade! Alison is running her very first marathon at the New York City Marathon at the beginning of November! That's a pretty big deal, and one close to my heart as those of you who were around when I was training for the Montreal Marathon a few years ago know. To mark this new adventure, Alison has decided to feature a different handmade business every day from October 1st to 26th, to represent each mile of her race!

Dot & Lil was lucky enough to be included a few days ago, and there's so many other people doing great, beautiful things! I  especially love the work of Manusmade and Fawn & Rose. Make sure to stay tuned for the last leg of the Handmade Marathon and cheer on the other makers who get featured.
